We hold these truths that should be self-evident, but are yet, not: that all men and women are created equal. The Femalist Papers are an evolving collection towards that end of equality for all in our great and beloved nation.

Our papers represent those essays that speak directly to our cause of equality for and improvement of the lives of women and girls in the United States of America. Our blog highlights other notes, perspectives, inspiration, and challenges on the theme of being female in this nation.
Women and girls in America, we invite you to share your stories of being female in our nation: your experiences, your hopes, your disappointments, your charges.
Please submit your essays* of ANY length or format (they can be poetry, fiction, memoir, in addition to essay) for publication on this Web site and potentially in a printed anthology, a portion of the proceeds of which will go to causes that submit the improvement of lives for girls and women in the United States of America. Some of those this site supports so far are listed in our side bar; we will continue to research those site that best and most directly support our causes for determination of the best ways to make a financial contribution with this effort.
With your submission, please indicate whether you wish to be anonymous, use a pen name, or publish your real name, your age (if willing to share), city and state, and any other demographic information you wish to share, including your personal or professional web site if you have one.
All women and girls including those identifying as such are invited to contribute.
